Everything began in 1996
in a small basement in Toronto where Chris,
with his love for 80's pop, punk rock and bad TV talk shows formed
JERRY AND THE FINAL THOUGHTS, together with Andy and Rob.
They released a 6-song demo tape and with over a hundred live shows
in the Canadian club scene, they quickly earned themselves
the reputation of an excellent live band
In the next years they
played with bands like No Use For A Name, Avail, Sick Of It All, Turbo
AC's and Anti Flag in Canada and in the States.
In 1998 they contributed 2 songs to the "east coast punk" compilation
that was released on Anti Flag's label A.F. records.
In 2000 Chris moved back
to Switzerland and the band broke up.
But for Chris JERRY always stayed in the back of his head.
The band took a little break until one hot summer night
during a Chixdiggit show at a small club in Switzerland
when all of a sudden everything came back,
and he realized:
JERRY has to get back together again.
With Claudine and Stony he found the perfect people for his quest.
And after the first one two three four
together in the rehearsal space they all agreed
.
JERRY IS BACK ...
